Role Overview
Associate Account Manager | Sydney, AU | Office-based
We're looking for a Vietnamese-speaking Associate Account Manager to join our Commercial team in Sydney, working at our Kent Street Office (very close to Town Hall and Wynyard stations). With our growth though we will be looking to move into an even more swanky brand new office very soon!
You'll manage and grow a portfolio of existing Fresha Partners, including Vietnamese-speaking businesses across ANZ. You'll build relationships, identify opportunities to increase adoption and revenue, and help Partners get greater value from the Fresha platform.
Professional fluency in Vietnamese is essential for this role. You'll regularly manage relationships, discuss commercial opportunities and conduct business with Vietnamese-speaking Partners within your portfolio. Professional-level English is also required for communication across Fresha and the wider Commercial team.
We’re hiring now for start dates in January.
If you’re looking to secure your next role before the year wraps up, this is a great opportunity to get ahead. While many companies slow down hiring over the summer period and pick things back up in February, Fresha is continuing to interview and hire now.
That means you can head into the new year with your next role already secured, ready to start in January.
What you will be doing:
Own portfolio growth: Carry a monthly/quarterly expansion quota and take responsibility for driving consistent revenue growth across your portfolio.
Identify commercial opportunities: Find and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities that increase product adoption, customer value and account spend.
Proactively engage your Partners: Use calls, video and face-to-face meetings to create commercial opportunities rather than simply responding to requests.
Sell consultatively: Understand each Partner's goals, use account and platform data to identify opportunities, handle objections and connect their needs to the right Fresha solutions.
Build and retain relationships: Develop strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers, increasing the value they get from Fresha while identifying and addressing early churn risks.
Work cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Onboarding and other Fresha teams to remove blockers, improve Partner outcomes and accelerate growth across your portfolio.
What we are looking for:
Languages: Professional fluency in Vietnamese is essential, alongside professional-level English. You must be confident managing Partner relationships and commercial conversations in Vietnamese.
Commercial experience: 1 to 2 years' experience in outbound business development, quota-carrying account management or another target-driven sales role.
A track record against targets: Evidence that you can work towards commercial targets and stay motivated by revenue goals and commission outcomes.
Commercial confidence: Comfortable discussing value and pricing, identifying opportunities, negotiating, handling objections and influencing business owners and decision-makers.
Organisation and ownership: Able to manage a high-volume portfolio, prioritise opportunities and maintain a consistent cadence without needing to be chased.
Mindset: Proactive, curious and coachable, with the resilience to work in a changing environment and a test-and-learn approach to improving your results.
Experience selling to small businesses and/or working within SaaS or platform businesses would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
At Fresha, we value passion and potential as much as specific skills. For this particular role, professional fluency in Vietnamese is an essential requirement due to the Partners you will be working with. If you meet this requirement but don't match every preferred criterion above, we'd still encourage you to apply.
Your Opportunity at Fresha
This is a strong opportunity to build your commercial career in Account Management while working with an established portfolio of beauty and wellness businesses across ANZ.
The role gives you more than traditional relationship management. You will have the chance to develop stronger commercial judgement, become more confident in consultative selling and build experience growing revenue across an existing customer base.
This role can give you:
Real ownership: You will manage your own portfolio, decide where to focus your time and take responsibility for the commercial growth of your accounts.
Stronger commercial skills: You will build experience in upselling, cross-selling, negotiation and identifying opportunities to increase customer value.
More confidence with data: You will learn how to use account performance and product usage data to prioritise opportunities and shape your conversations.
Deeper relationship management experience: You will work directly with business owners and decision-makers, helping you become more confident influencing, advising and managing commercial relationships.
Broader exposure across the business: You will work closely with Sales, Onboarding and other internal teams, giving you a wider understanding of how a scaling SaaS business operates.
Room to progress: Strong performance can lead to greater responsibility and future opportunities within Fresha's Commercial organisation as the business continues to grow.
If you're looking for an Account Management role where you can become more commercially rounded, build stronger sales and relationship skills and take genuine ownership of a portfolio, this is an opportunity to do that in a growing international business.
